Derms and 'WH' editors love it, too.

Step aside, Mindy, and make room for Ashley Park.

Today, Women's Health is lucky enough to call the singer, actress, and dancer our latest cover star. Unsurprisingly, she's super sculpted and strong—head to toe.

During her cover interview with Women's Health, Ashley opened up about learning to love her face shape and cheekbones, after feeling like she didn't fit beauty standards growing up.

Now, she's paying more attention to taking care of her skin. Ashley mentioned that doesn't step on set without using FaceGym's Pure Lift Face toning device (which targets facial muscles) in the morning at home.

Yup—just like you and me, Ashley doesn't wake up with those sky-high cheekbones. “When I wake up, I’m puffy because those muscles aren’t woken up,” she says. “Working them out gives me a lift."

If there's anything editors at WH are down for, it's some sculpting in the A.M.—now that's what I call a full-body workout.

FaceGym's Pure Lift Face is a toning microcurrent device that uses electric magnetic stimulation to work out your face muscles when you graze the sculpting tool over your cheekbones, jawline, and even eyebrows. (I use the device myself and consider it a face lift, sans the surgery.) Not only are WH editors fans of microcurrent devices—dermatologists are, too.

“Microcurrent devices use low levels of electrical current to stimulate facial muscles, helping sculpt and lift the face,” says dermatologist Marisa Garshick, MD. Pro tip: Just like with anything in your skincare routine, consistency is key. She recommends using the device at least three times per week.

Watch Ashley Park talk about what she loves most about her body:

And hey, I get it. Words like "electric," "magnetic," and "microcurrent" may sound a bit daunting when it comes to your skin, which is why FaceGym's tool is great for beginners and experts alike because it has three levels: low, medium, and high.

Simply start at the lowest level, and work your way up. As someone who's tried several devices, I can say that FaceGym's is one of the more intense—you'll want to start on low.

The device isn't exactly cheap. But you can use it as many times as you'd like, making it far less expensive than if you were to get the same number of microcurrent facials in a spa. Plus: It has a year-long warranty.

“We have more than 40 muscles from the neck up, which support our skin’s structure,” says Inge Theron, founder of FaceGym. “I was taking all of these fitness classes and had this eureka moment: Why aren’t we doing the same for our faces?”

It makes sense—why wouldn't you work out the muscles in your face when you're likely using them all day, whether it's to eat, speak, or just drop your jaw in shock while watching Ashley sing on Emily in Paris?

I'll gladly add it to my pre-Pilates warm-up every single morning.
